A note from our founder
A truck. A trailer.
And no giving up.
I'm Lo'Renzo Smith. My childhood wasn't easy, and I didn't start this company with a fleet of trucks or a big team behind me. I started with a truck and a trailer, taking the jobs I could get and learning the industry the hard way.
There were days that turned into nights, jobs I struggled to finish and times I worked for pennies on the dollar. It was blood, sweat and tears. But every job taught me something. I kept fighting for the next opportunity until I started to believe: I could turn this into a real business — one I could be proud of.
Today, EZ As Pie is family-owned and locally owned and operated right here in the Upstate. Those pink trucks are our calling card, but the people inside them are what make this company. We bring Southern hospitality to the work: show respect, take pride in the job and look after the person who trusted us to do it.
I care about my movers as much as I care about my clients. To me, leadership means giving good people direction, training and support — then holding ourselves to the standards we promise you. Innovation means never settling for “that's how it's always been done” when we can find a better way to care for your home, your belongings and our crew.
I know what it takes to work for what you have. When you trust us with it, that means something to me. I want you to finish move day feeling that your belongings were respected, your family was looked after and you chose people who genuinely cared.

Rooted here. Growing here.
More than a move.
A local relationship.
In our first two years, we've served over 1,000 clients and built relationships with local realtors across our market. Every recommendation puts someone's reputation in our hands. We take that personally.
Our next chapter isn't just about more pink trucks. It's about developing our people, caring for more families and building a business the Upstate is proud to call its own. Growth should never mean losing the hospitality that got us here.

Where we want to go next
Give good things a second home.
We know what it means to start with very little. As EZ As Pie grows, we want to turn the work we already do into more opportunities to help our neighbors — alongside local charities, schools and community organizations.
Boxes for a fresh start
Our goal is to make usable, previously used moving boxes available free to people who need them. Less waste, one less expense and a little help getting settled.
Furniture with more to give
Customers often ask us about furniture they no longer need. We want to help connect suitable pieces with charities that can get them to families who could use them.
Local hands. Local impact.
We're interested in working with schools and community groups on practical ways to help. We'd rather listen to what our neighbors need than promise a program that doesn't fit.
Help us shape this next chapter.
These are initiatives we're working toward, not standing pickup or donation programs. If you represent a charity or school, have furniture to discuss, or need used boxes, call us about current availability and possible arrangements. Please arrange any collection before visiting; our locations have no walk-in lobby.

A premium move starts with who we hire, how we train and the care we bring into your home. These are the standards behind the pink shirts.
Our people. Our responsibility.
Full-time, background-checked employees, handpicked to our company standards. The people entering your home are our own crew — never random day labor.
Training doesn't stop
Every mover trains in-house, with consistent ongoing training and monitoring. Protecting your home, handling your belongings and treating you well are standards we keep working on.
Care on the road, too
Our drivers have clean driving records and receive driving training. We're DOT compliant, because the responsibility for your belongings doesn't stop at the front door.
Licensed & insured
We're licensed and insured, with Full Value Protection available. Our EZ Care Standard includes floor runners, door jamb guards, wall and corner protection, blankets and shrink wrap on every move.
100% cashless
Major credit and debit cards, with 3–36 month payment plans through Wisetack for moves. Cash is only for tipping your movers.
Hospitality, down to the last box
A crew that cares, a proper thank-you and a free apple pie with every completed move. Southern hospitality isn't an extra — it's how we want you to remember us.
The pie tradition
Every completed move ends with a fresh pie from our partners at Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop on Augusta Rd in Greenville — wrapped with a pink ribbon and a handwritten thank-you from the crew.
It's our way of saying welcome home.
